Day 20: Les Fleurs

Last week's flowers have moved to the back room, still too pretty to toss out.

And this week's bouquet has taken center stage sur la table.

Bien! Maintenant, monte au grenier pour écrire.

Bisous à vous tous,
N2

Good morning, N2. The top picture conjured up some old memories for me. I recall years ago (probably late 40s/early 50s) a round rattan table such as this in our home. We lived in Hawaii for a time and we came home with rattan furniture covered in fabulous floral cushions. I would not mind have such furniture again.

Yes, there is something intriguing about being able to see the floor through the glass, along with the organic shape and color of the bamboo.

I am loving your eye! Becoming quite abstract, my friend!!! #2 photo: the floor has dimension, while the table top and fleurs seem so flat.

Beautiful!

B - One of the things I love about going to the market each week here is buying myself an affordable bouquet of flowers. In Amsterdam the flower market is to die for -- a bunch of 5 amaryllis stems for ~$10!! Sigh...
